Jeep Patriot-still OK to start school

Let's be honest, the days of big SUV roboform2go. Every day now TV reports saying that fuel prices will continue to grow because of the huge demand for oil, particularly from developing countries. After a few minutes on the Internet will tell you that even the United States a motorist enters increased fuel costs (some say not prematurely) and the buyer of a new car will take tough decisions before their next purchase.

I watched a program on TV at night about a guy who trade in its £ 40 k BMW for electric cars, and he uses it to travel into Central London every day. I thought it was a very commendable, as it makes a great sacrifice for his status as an Executive car. It was a pretty big guy, and crammed into this thing and looked rather awkward a bit like when you were a kid and your dad's car pedal force yourself as you look into mourning. Guy though I guess that on average he save himself around £ 9 k a year and took advantage of free parking and congestion charge and not just drove in tiny underground parking and connect it to your car. I think if he got drunk after work he pretty much can take a car back home by train.

I thought it was all fine if all you need for the next day was a lunchbox and Financial Times (possibly with catalogue clothes Harrods, tucked between pages), but as anyone with young children will know when it comes to transporting your little darlings even before the end of the road does not Remove the trucks will be enough to cart around all their stuff!

Gravely for a moment, if I may, the Government seems to be defined for each whiz around in a small electric micro bubbles without any considerations for an average family with their 5 children and 2. the poor old dog. When we went away for an overnight stay for some time our car was packed to the roof with things and knowing that my luggage was made up of toothbrush and a pair of underpants (well may) I realized that the rest belong to our 17 month old daughter.

We have an ancient Land Rover Discovery, and I feel quite justified in his possession, as we live in rural Warwickshire, where if you drove a car it will either disappear forever down one of the many potholes or debited from a Badger. However, when dropping off my daughter's nursery, I noticed people reduce their vehicles, although unlike in parts of London, which will be met by a crowd baying anti-4 x 4 protesters hurling abuse at you, I've noticed a few raised eyebrowsthat amount to the same thing in these parts.

If you really cannot survive without some SUV that aid could be at hand on something like a Jeep Patriot. Although the name is a tad low quite nationalist car itself, unless of course you go and put privacy glass and 18 "alloys.

Patriot has a lower ground clearance than the much larger SUV, and you need only to draw four wheel drive, whenever you need it so that when people say "look at them in their 4 x 4" you can say "well actually it is a two-wheel drivemost of the time, and then laugh as they gain in crude camps as you safely drive. Patriot capital, however, is its fuel economy, which is about 50 mpg for city and 42 mpg diesel hybrid models, which I wanted to go, also respectable CO2 at about 180 g/km for diesel fuel. Insurance group is quite low.

So if you need a room somewhere and actually take your family with you the Patriot could be a car you're looking for, and you'll still be able to climb at the school gate without hanging your head in shame!

Tim Bristol spent a week looking at the looming energy crisis and discovers it is still possible to buy an SUV that does not require your own deposit to start. See your Jeep Dealer for details.
